Making Voice-Overs Sound Good Shouldn’t Be Difficult

Voice over is one of those staple elements in the post production world that are used all the time, but are not necessarily done well as much as they are used.

Here are a few post production tips to help your voice over sound as good as your project looks!


STEP 1: Equalization

Under the effects rack tab in Audition, select: Filter and EQ / Parametric Equalizer.


Selecting the Loudness Maximizer option will add a subtle curve to the bass and treble range of the waveform giving a nice full tone to the voice over. Also, be sure to hit the “Apply” button
